Sharks are global travelers.
The great white shark can migrate thousands of miles across oceans—some tracking from South Africa to Australia and back.

 

Sharks have a keen sense of smell, some can detect a drop of blood in an Olympic-sized pool, 1 part per 10 billion parts of water.

 

Great White Sharks must move to breathe but the nurse shark can pump water over its gills to breathe while resting on the seafloor.

 

Some sharks have a superpower to detect electric fields given off by other animals.  The shark’s special organ is called ampullae of Lorenzie.

 

A group of sharks is called a Shiver and a baby shark is called a Pup.
